Position Objective:

Lead quality team to guarantee the quality of Amer Sports brands, monitor the production status and work with PPPteam to ensure factories’ delivery as per scheduled.

Position Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist Greater China Quality& Production Manager to develop department's long & short term objectives to support the quality strategy established by the Company & Brands;

2. Manage and coordinate routine activities of a QC Inspection team to ensure inspection work completed as per schedule, monitor supplier’s WIP and work with PPP team to ensure good quality products delivery timely in North China.

3. Perform all duties of QC when necessary, enhance daily operation efficiency and effectiveness in North China.

Essential Duties:

1. Lead quality team to take care the quality and delivery in suppliers located in North China;

1) Prioritize routine work of quality control inspectors, such as: SMS inspection, PP meeting, In-line, washing test sample review and final audit; 2) Perform all duties of QC and also backup arrangement (include to perform the backup work by himself/herself) for circumstances such as inspector(s) on planned/unplanned leave, seasonal high/low delivery schedule and etc.;

3) Monitor team members working in compliance to Comp any/Brand requirements and manager’s instruction;

4) Use different chart to control quality through statistical analysis;

5) Use the project and production calendar,follow up WIP on-site,monitor the production status and work with PPP team to ensure delivery on time;

2. Provide quality training to suppliers as business needs dictate;

3. Direct team members to deal with routine and ad hoc activities efficient and effectively;

Coach quality inspectors which include day-to-day hands on training, oversight & discipline;

Provide relevant input to Greater China QPM to conduct performance review;

4. Review inspection records & reports prepared by quality control inspectors,

Consolidate reports and prepare other summary reports accordingly and update it on time.

Lead quality control inspectors to follow up Corrective Action Plan for quality issues.

5. Make suggestion to Greater China QPM for any possible change/adjustment about quality system

(procedure,report format,inspection method, tools, etc.)for enhancement of operation efficiency & effectiveness;

6. Work closely & supportively with Amer Sports Social Compliance Unit.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Good knowledge in fabric, garment sewing, taping, gluing , printing & embroidery;

2. 5 years or above solid experience in outdoor apparel quality assurance, in which at least 3 years experience supervisor role in quality area.

3. Rich experience of following up the production schedule and delivery.

4. Fluent in English spoken & written.

5. Good interpersonal, communication and presentation Skill.

6. Able to work and travel independently.

7. Experience in Certified Factory Auditor.

Desired Working experience:

1. At least 5 years outdoor apparel experiences.

2. Customer Service Oriented; responsible, honesty & independent at work.

3. Open-minded with good interpersonal & communication skills.

4. Willing to travel various factory locations.

5. Previous experience working in outdoor garment factory or outdoor apparel brand is an advantage.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

1. At least College degree, university degree is preferred;
2. Major on garment or textile is preferred.
