Position: Admission & Marketing

1. Primary Function Summary
The Admission & Marketing will be primarily responsible for supporting new families through the application process Additionally, the Admission will also conduct school tours, assist with student assessment and the occasional external education marketing events.

2. Position Requirement
1) Relevant Experience:
- Min. 3 to 5 years work experience in a customer facing role;
- Background in teaching or school administration preferred;

2) Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Academics, or related field

3) Scope of Communication:
- Internally communicate with local staff and foreigners as well, in form of e-mail, phone call and memo
- Externally communicate with the Gov. and 3rd party in form of e-mail, fax, letter and meeting

4) Other requirements and / or description (Specific knowledge, Competencies, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work cooperatively with parents and administration;
- Excellent native-level written and oral English;
- Professional demeanour and presentation;
- Knowledge and use of Word processing, Excel and databases;
- Ability to organize and prioritize work independently;

3. Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the marketing activities in the target markets;
-Build up, develop and maintain the cooperated relationship with other schools and organizations, take necessary business trips to the major cities;
- Effectively market the school and its programs to prospective families;
- Process incoming applications and inquires;
- Update applicant's status in admissions database as needed;
- Monitor applications to assure they are complete and all necessary documentation has been received;
- Correspond with families on status of application;
- Respond to applicant families' emails or phone enquiries;
- Conduct school tours for prospective families;
- Additional duties as assigned.

In the future, CISK will break ground on a new campus, to be located next to Duke University in Kunshan. When complete, our new campus will offer an indoor and outdoor playground, a well-stocked library, and modern purpose built classrooms with music and art facilities, as well as a boarding program to accommodate students from neighboring cities and provinces!

CISK is affiliated with St. John’s-Kilmarnock School. It will adopt the educational standard of Ontario, Canada and International Baccalaureate (IB) system. The goal is to employ faculty, consisting of licensed teachers from Canada. CISK plans to open its door in early September, 2012.
