职位描述
- For our Industry Sector in Taicang,we are looking for a EHS Officer.
What are my responsibilities?
1 Liaise with local authorities to ensure safety compliance if required; make sure the EHS management system and performance being compliance to local EHS rules and laws
2 Conduct EHS training programs designed to emphasize EHS operating procedure.
3 Identify workplace hazards and perform daily inspection including fire fighting system, special equipment registration, PPE applicable etc. Inform management of safety/security issues and status of EHS activities taken to resolve hazardous operating conditions
4 Monitor compliance to defined standards and maintain records and documentation in order to ensure company standards and local EHS regulatory requirements are met and to minimize risks to the company
5 Initiate, develop, formulate and implement programs, policies and procedures to improve safety and security of employees
6 Manage injuries, participate in incident investigations, make root cause analysis , follow up corrective action on injuries
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Good English (oral and written)
- Knowledge on ISO14001 and OHSMS 18000, applicable EHS laws and regulations
- Good experience of relationship with local government
- Good command of MS Office.
- Good command of English both in written and verbal.
What else do I need to know?
- Mechanical manufacturing background, Safety engineering graduation is prefered
- 2~3 years of related position, be able to set up EHS management in an organization independently
- Experience working for internaltional companies and in a multi language environement.
