We are seeking an Application Engineer to design, develop and provide technical support for our products in Greater China. This role will be focused on engineered solutions for our customers in industry application.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide engineered drive solutions base on customer information
• Support the sales team on project proposals; drawings, application methods and system recommendations
• Visit customer with our Sales team to train, and support customer requirements
• Perform comprehensive drive analysis on existing and new power transmission systems
• Provide on-site troubleshooting when necessary to determine corrective action of product and or application issues
• Perform other duties as assigned by management level

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

• Strong mechanical background, with past engineering successes
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Skill in CAD or other computer aided design functions
• Hands-on practical experience with mechanical equipment
• Proven technical capability
• Able to organize and submit professional presentations to customers

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• University graduate with Bachelor's degree in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3-5 years working experience with mechanical equipment, design, or applications
• Must have excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, verbal and written
• Strong analytical and technical skills, practicing engineer level knowledge
• Very self motivated/independent, creative and practical
