Designs, implements and directs financial activities for a single entity. Advises management in portion of financial matters. Position may have a focus on Accounting or Financial Planning. Primary responsibility for oversight of day to day maintenance of costing /or financial reporting activities at the single site. Manages a single site financial account statements and monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
? Oversees accounting and/or financial analysis activities for a single site. Has responsibility for legal compliance with all external reporting requirements.
? Manages overall costing transaction activities and related accounting practices as they pertain to the group sub-legers. Ensures accounting records are prepared and kept in accordance with Cabot’s global standards and generally-accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
? Manages to consolidate for preparation of necessary government filings.
? Oversees monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes ensuring accuracy of a single unit, timeliness, compliance and identification of financial/business issues.
? Support senior finance manager to prepare and communication of forecasts, analyses, budgets and other financial information
? Assist senior finance manager on the SOX implementation. To have suggestion on the improvement of the process.
? Monitor the day-to-day work of the cashier. Make sure the safety of the local treasure asset and the accuracy of the payment and invoicing activity.
? Follow up the cost reduction project.
? Support and review tax filing of tax accountant to make sure the compliance of the tax regulation.
? Manages a team of professional accountants if there is any. Provide the guideline to the subordinates.
? Support senior finance manager when needed.
Expert knowledge of accounting, financial principles and ability to apply in a business setting. Strong knowledge of country statutory and tax accounting and reporting requirements.
Use oral English to present PPT in meeting.
