We are searching for a self-motivate and passionate person for the senior optical engineer position. The candidate will work together with us to design and deliver the transmission component products. The products are named as TOSA (transmission optical subassembly) and ROSA (receiver optical subassembly).
Responsibility：
? To design, and test optical components.
? The majority of the work is optical simulations, data analysis, verification tests at functional testers.
? Need to communicate results to colleagues in the team by delivering high quality design verification test reports.
? Needs to collaborate with other functions in the department to complete the product design and deliver design specifications.
? Responsible to identify technical risks and design experiments to quantify and resolve the problems.
Requirements:
? 5 years’ experience in optical transmission field and worked as optical engineer or optical test engineer.
? Solid experience on optical ray tracing simulation tool (Zemax etc), and coupling sensitivity analysis.
? Familiar with high speed transceiver test equipment, PPG, DCA and VNA.
? Fluent speaking English, and good communication skill (verbal and written).
? Bachelor degree from Optical, optoelectronics, or Physics.
? It is a plus if the candidate is familiar with C# or C++ programming so he has flexibility to modify the testing software built by test team.
? It is a plus if the candidate can do schematic and layout of simple test boards using Cadence software.
