Position: Global Sourcing Manager
Location: Shekou, Shenzhen, China
POSITION PURPOSE
This position will support senior sourcing manager to build out and leverage Asia operations to assist Global Sourcing business in terms of sourcing and products development, supplier assessment, cost management, supplier benchmarking, cost competitiveness as well as supply base improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
? Identify, qualify and develop competitive, socially-compliant suppliers matching our Sourcing strategy, take the business development plan into consideration, to ensure cost competitiveness, quality standards and supply security.
? Responsible for NPD sourcing for assigned products, work with PBT, engineers and product manager for developing the new products on RFQ, Sampling, Spec finalizing etc.. all the way through the Business tollage process for the tooling release.
? Work together with Operations and Quality team to drive supplier improvements on capacity, quality and delivery etc..
? Work with Compliance team to drive of factory audits and compliance improvements.
? Develop and maintain good commercial relationship with supply partners, seek and develop new optimization opportunities.
? Manage Contracts, MPA, Code of Conduct with suppliers.
Qualifications/Requirements
? 8+ years of Sourcing experience
? Bachelor degree or above, MBA is a plus
? Fluent English intercommunication skills
? Drive for results and accountability
? Acts with Integrity
? In-depth knowledge about industry and market
? Negotiation skills
? Cooperative and team player
? 80% travelling (including International travelling) required
