Tophold was founded in 2012 as a technology company purely focused on delivering innovative methods to fundamentally improve many stagnant areas in financial services. Our founder came to Shanghai after over a decade on Wall Street including two years as an M&A banker in Financials and eight years leading investments in Fintech for a hedge fund. He was also a pioneer in the blockchain industry after co-founding a blockchain company in 2011 that received a US bank license in 2015. Tophold’s technology combines blockchain into proprietary matching technology and social functions to create a cheap, safe and seamless trading experience for small individual traders. Along with our partners like financial data intelligence leader Chinascope Financial, we’re heavily invested in integrating artificial intelligence and enhanced quantitative trading in both retail trader decision making as well as risk analytics. We believe that this combination will create a truly innovative Financial Technology (Fintech) company of the future.
