Context/Scope:
The Customer Marketing role is to lead the development of scalable National BTL Marketing programs supporting both Brand Marketing and Field Sales. Working cross functionally with marketing, sales and regional customer marketing colleagues, this role offers direction in understanding the most effective sales drivers in the retail environment and tailors programs to leverage these drivers.
The role acts as a bridge to support many functions across the business through transparent communication requiring attention to detail and astute financial acumen. Finally, the role is also responsible for the effective measurement and evaluation of promotional activities.
Purpose of Role:
To grow sales volume, brand share and profitability by developing and implementing a range of customer activities, consumer promotions, brand and retail initiatives, aligned with pan regional and regional brand and marketing strategies.
Top Accountabilities:
? Budget management
? Deliver on cyclical timeline requirements to ensure activity is developed and delivered on time, in full.
? Develop the quarterly activity plan for each brand at city/CDOS/contract type level
? Work with regional teams to develop outlet plans based on the above
? Track and evaluate execution of plan
? Manage field sales feedback process on activation issues & opportunities
? Develop, manage and track execution standards of identified brand sales drivers
? Deliver activation targets and other KPI requirements
? Coach regions on outlet planning, execution standards, and performance indicators
Qualifications and Experience Required:
? 8+ years in Sales and / or Brand Marketing with strong track record
? Analytical thinking, data trend analysis, insight generation
? Self-motivated and willingness to push the boundary
? Ability to work in diverse environment with strong cross functional communication ability
? Good understanding of DWS Capabilities, tools and systems and how these interact together to deliver brilliant execution in outlet
? Experienced in CDOS, QDVPPP, Sales Capabilities such as structured call, persuasive selling & brand passion, Targeted Trade Investment, Customer Profitability
? Requires strong financial understanding & basic modeling skills
