职位描述：
General Purpose:
* Manages Mechanical Engineering design hand off between ID and supplier and Asia Engineering Team.Position Summary,

Responsibilities and Expectations:
* Responsible for the mechanical design for consumer electronic enclosures.
* Hands on design capability.
* Translates ID concept into actual part breakup and individual part design.
* Provides technical assessment on manufacturability of designs.
* Understands cost implications of different materials and manufacturing processes, able to align design intent and cost targets.
* Drives trade offs discussions between Product Management Team and ID to make sure design meets cost, quality, reliability, manufacturability, functional and aesthetic requirements.
* Resolves manufacturability and design issues with new exploratory materials, finishes, lighting effects

Essential Skills and Experience:
? BS in Mechanical Engineering.
? Strong ID background.
? Fluent in English
? Experience in plastic and sheet metal part design as well as other materials and finishes.
? Experience in consumer electronics enclosure design.
? Experience in plastic and sheet metal tooling and other manufacturing processes and finish processes.
? Experience in CAD, Solidworks or ProE.
? Resourceful, creative problem solver, able to work in a fast pace resource limited environment. 举报 分享
