职位描述：
Embedded Linux Wireless 802.11 Driver Developer

 

Responsibilities:


* Implementing embedded firmware features for Wifi devices and platforms.
* Designing, implementing and testing new WLAN features on OpenWRT
* Resolving system level performance, functionality and stability issues related to WLAN driver
* Solving complex performance, functionality and memory related issues of WLAN driver on Customer platforms.
* Root-cause analysis of various issues reported by customers and providing timely fix.

MUST HAVE

* Proven experience in working Device drivers, especially on OpenWRT, Luci
* Solid understanding of the problem of wireless medium access and the solution
* Hands-on in DCF, EDCA and Rate-adaptation regarding QCA 9531 or the like
* Thorough understanding of OS utilities such as system logging, network services and run-time options.
* System primitives such as: timers, DMA, interrupts, cache configuration and device registration
* Fluent in the C/scripts programming language and embedded debugging


Desired Experiences

The following experiences are not necessarily required but are highly desirable:
* Experience in IEEE 802.11 Wireless protocols, Wireless Systems analysis, and underlying PHY and MAC functionalities.
* Experience in PCIE/USB Drivers
* Experience with chip/board bring-up using embedded Linux

*为Wifi设备和平台实现嵌入式固件功能。

*在OpenWRT上设计，实现和测试新的WLAN功能

*解决与WLAN驱动程序相关的系统级性能，功能和稳定性问题

*解决客户平台上WLAN驱动程序的复杂性能，功能和内存相关问题。

*对客户报告的各种问题进行根本原因分析，并及时修复。

 

必备技能

 

*具有开发设备驱动程序的丰富经验，特别是在OpenWRT，Luci

*坚实地了解无线介质访问的问题和解决方案

*关于QCA 9531等的DCF，EDCA和速率适配方面的实践经验

*彻底了解操作系统实用程序，如系统日志记录，网络服务和运行时选项。

*系统原语，例如：定时器，DMA，中断，缓存配置和设备注册

*流利的C /脚本编程语言和嵌入式调试

 

期望的经验

以下经验虽不是必需的，但是也很需要：

*在IEEE 802.11无线协议，无线系统分析和底层PHY和MAC功能方面的经验。

*在PCIE / USB驱动程序方面的经验
