The Energy Product Supply Team (PST) is in need of an innovative process engineer to support the development and execution of coal gasification opportunities in China. The engineer will be responsible for supporting project development engineering activities and project design work, while working closely with R&D, external technology suppliers, local design institutes (LDI’s), and potential customers to develop optimized technical offerings. Key job responsibilities include process (Aspen Plus) simulations, process equipment specification and design, Technical Risk Management, LDI oversight, and field support.

Candidates Qualifications: 技能需求

·BS in Chemical Engineering. An advanced degree is preferred. At least 7, ideally, 10 years or above experience in design and execution of gasification projects. This should include design, specification, procurement and start-up of gasification systems with solid and liquid feedstocks. Of benefit is some experience or knowledge of gasifier supplier technology (GE, Shell, and ConocoPhillips), CO shift systems, and Acid Gas Removal systems.

·The candidate will ideally have a good knowledge of simulation software, preferably Aspen. They will be able to set up and run large, integrated flowsheets, and evaluate results.

·The candidate should have good oral and written communication skills, in Chinese and English. They should have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, and be able to coordinate and communicate with others on a broad range of issues. Experience of working with or within multinational companies could be an advantage 具备良好的中英文口语和写作交流技巧，具备独立工作的能力，可以就广泛的问题同他人进行交流和合作，具有在跨国公司工作或者同跨国公司合作的经验者为佳。
