Sales Manager Position:
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
The primary function of this Sales Manager position contributes for the acquisition and administration of clients, by proactively developing leads at an optimum balance of cost, quality and supplier service, of all materials and services necessary for all goods and commodities of the indirect demand.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identifying and Acquisition of new clients by studying the marketplace and trends, estimating sales volume, and qualifying potential customers vs. coepto strategic fit.
- Evaluate suppliers through performance measures.
- Support purchasing managers in any conflicts they may entail with suppliers.
- Negotiate long-term agreements with existing suppliers up to contract signature
- Maintain excellent communication and relationship with suppliers and clients
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations and establish new business relations and strengthen and expand the existing client relations
- Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects
- Attend trainings and meetings
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- strong and active communication skills, ability to build rapport with clients
- Hands-on-mentality, Self-motivated, strong desire to achieve personal, professional growth
- Proactively working style, highly motivated and with a commitment to building lasting relationships
- especially winning and convincing manners on the phone but also in direct contact to new or potential clients
- Ability to identify customer needs and match their solution with company product/services
- Preferred: Procurement/supply chain/sales background in manufacturing environment and Packaging industry knowledge
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
- Business college degree preferred or the equivalent in training education and experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with: Selling concepts, products and programs to a diverse customer base; Negotiating win-win business solutions and building strong business relationships with customers.
- Provide sales budget/forecast/projections and attend to other administrative matters ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in a complete and on-time basis
- Above the average level skills in oral and written English language

- Sales Experience in the field of packaging and indirect commodity good
- Knowledge of packaging procedures helpful, but not necessary
- Experience formulating and applying strategic sales plans
- Experience with entering new markets with existing products / introducing new products to current markets
