职位描述：
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create and drive packaging designs, construction, from initial concepts, through design completion, and into manufacturing.
2. Collaborate with and utilize input from Operations, Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, and Senior Management to continue further concept exploration and design refinement.
3. Research regulatory requirements and implement packaging designs to maximize efficiency and compliance with all international and domestic shipping requirements.
4. Research and present market trends, manufacturing and material trends, and consumer needs to help determine design direction for product packaging.
5. Develop, update and manage complex die-lines and packaging structure drawings.
6. Manage changes and ensure consistency between all angles, colors and lighting within each suite of images.
7. Attend Press Checks to verify accurate production and color matching.
8. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to troubleshoot when issues arise and ensure deadlines are hit and product meets mophie’s quality standards.
9. Work with and travel to manufacturers internationally to develop production packaging parts and assemblies ensuring great fit and highest quality.
10. Manage changes to production packaging as needed using the established Engineering change process.
11. Manage time efficiently and work in an organized fashion.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent related work experience.
2. Proficient in Adobe CS suites applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ?Acrobat).
3. Experience designing and developing packaging for consumer electronics products.
4. Pre-press experience preparing files for print a must.
5. Experience with the printing & prepress process including various press types.
6. Experience with a wide range of printing techniques, construction techniques, and materials used for packaging. 7. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
8. Understanding of packaging software like ArtiosCAD or similar is a plus.
9. Design experience in primary packaging materials including but not limited to: Folding Carton, Corrugated, Thermoformed plastic, Injection molding, Molded plastic and paper, and Plastic films.
10. Understanding of aesthetic aspects of design, and attention to detail.
11. Good project, archiving, and file management skills.
12. Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
13. Timely communication of project issues, including but not limited to schedule, status and risks.
14. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
15. Ability to adapt to new challenges and finds ways to solve them.
16. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is ?crucial.
17. Ability to work well with a team that isn’t always in the same time zone.
18. Ability to work hands-on.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Packaging Engineering or equivalent or 5 years related experience.
2. Experience with the printing & prepress process including various press types.
3. Effective in a fast paced environment and ability to meet deadlines.
4. Effective at multitasking and ability to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
5. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
6. Sitting for extended periods of time.
7. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and ?other devices and objects.
