职位描述：
We are now looking for a Tesla HPC Data Analysis SW Engineer:
This is primarily a software position for continued development of the Tesla production database, and operational use of this database to perform custom queries and analysis of production yield trends. You will be expected to generate standard reports from each production build, and run custom analysis as needed for various business use. Metrics will be tracked to indicate when new production issues occur, with responsibilities to inform the production engineering manager for corrective actions.

Job Requirements include familiarity with the following topics.
Software specific topics:
- LAMP (Linux+Apache+MySQL+php) as the primary database
- Linux shell script knowledge
- MySQL -- storage and SQL programming language
- PHP -- server site script language
- Javascript -- client site scripting language\
- HTML/CSS -- Website implementation
- Python -- for production log file parsing into the database
- Understanding of Regular Expressions
- JQuery and Smarty
- Microsoft Excel
BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
2+ year of related work experience

In addition, a working knowledge of statistics is required. You will be generating histograms and computing standard deviations as part of the production reports for multiple parameters. You will be expected to propose new metrics for data analysis as the database capability improves.

The overall efforts from this position will be utilized for continuous improvement of production yields and test diagnostic development, and is a key position for answering questions of actual production results as compared to initial design predictions for each Tesla product line. 举报 分享
