SWG supports the hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide who rely on IBM mainframes, mid-range processors, personal computers and global networks to conduct e-commerce, collaboration and content hosting.
The Industry & Solutions Synergy Sales (EXECUTION) Leader - Curam portfolio. (SSL - band 9 or 10) will report to the I&SS IOT level Smarter Cities sales manager Additionally, the SSL role will take business direction from the WW I&SS Synergy Sales Leader and the SIL for Curam. The SSL will function as a Peer/Partner to the newly acquired sales leader for GMU. The focus of this role is on achieving the incremental "ynergy"revenue for Curam across the Asia Pacific region as defined by the business case.
The focus in this role is not the acquired companies'existing business or pipeline, but rather meeting the IBM Synergy Revenue objectives. i.e. expansion into additional customers or customer sets leveraging the IBM global sales presence and install base. This role is focused on generating or gaining net/new high value target accounts for the acquired team' pipeline. This SSL will actively identify targets for the identified synergy plays in the business case, coordinate account planning sessions, drive strategy to engage the right customer decision makers leveraging IBM team for access. The SSL will systematically work down the list of targeted accounts assisting the new sales team in navigating and teaming with IBM. Once the deals are validated and the acquired team is well engaged with IBM the SSL roles off and continues to add new validated opportunity to the synergy pipeline in order to achieve the overall synergy revenue goals in the business case. For this role prior integration experience and SWG sales manager experience are a plus. Candidates must have domain expertise (experience selling into State &Local Government, Healthcare).
