Project Manager, Sustaining

Our Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the overall product development cycle for our core products. He/she will work with both internal and external partners to develop schedules and define responsibilities and deliverables. He/she will set regular meetings to review the progress and status of each project they oversee. In addition, he/she will address, prioritize, resolve conflicts, and assist in managing the communication amongst the different teams.
 
 
What You Will Do
 
- Responsible for supporting the overall camera product development and Sustaining work with the contract manufacturer
- Deliver assigned projects within the specification defined
- Report on any key issues and follow up on action lists
- Manage change requests, improvement and sustaining activities
- Drive and coordinate the cross-functional development cycle with the team in US, China and Contract Manufacturer
- Assist in prioritizing deliverables for both internal and external team members
- Ensure that the proper process is followed in accordance with GoPro guidelines
 
 
Skills We're Stoked About
 
- Experience managing consumer electronic projects through the full development life cycle
- 8+ years of work experience in project management with a successful track record
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing tests is a plus
- Experience with ODM and JDM development
- Undergrad degree in CE or CS is preferred
- Experience in Digital Video or Photography is a plus
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Jira
- Proficient language skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to work cross-functionally with strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Results and deadline driven: must be willing to do whatever it takes and spend whatever time it takes to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently with little direction and multi-task, handling various projects at once while being extremely productive and timely
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Takes great pride and ownership in designs produced
