Objective:

Reporting to Project Leader, the application engineer works with sales and customers to resolve and improve technical solutions to customer demands. The role will also aim to improve each sales person technical
Main responsibilities:
? To provide the technical support both on products and applications
? To provide support in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues/returns, using appropriate problem solving techniques and focusing on quality support.
? Support customers effectively and professionally, escalate issues to your manager as needed
? Support the sales team in providing technical assistance with new projects and resolving problems with existing applications.
? Customised project design and application testing when required
? Attending customer site to have discussions on new solutions, troubleshooting and providing solutions to existing problems.

Required skills & experience:

? Education in relevant field, for e.g. electronic/mechanical engineering.
? Minimum 5 years experiences within EE/ME field, PLC programming experience preferred.
? Good English skills, both in written and orally
? Good communication skills
? Responsible, reliable and must be able to work independently
? Expert in MS software, Excel and Word. Experience with CRM and other relevant software applications is a plus
? Strong personality, masterful but polite
