Job Purpose:
- Provide leadership across the business on professional marketing and business strategy. Oversee project implementation within the businesses.
- Develop close professional working relationship with eye care/eye health professional bodies and associations in all key countries.
- Responsible for implementing brand and service excellence plan across all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Vivo Optics growth strategy to the existing markets especially for Korea, Japan and Europe.
- Maintain existing business and maintain good relationship with channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Manage professional relationship with eye health medical institutions and associations.
- Provide professional guidance on regulations for medical device applications for all countries.
- Setting strategy, methodology and direction for product R&D team.
- Work with internal & external quality specialists and operations team to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
- Implement and monitor quality management plans for each service line and product offerings.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the account manager for one or more regional strategic clients, including driving the development of a client plan and ensuring systematic follow-up.
- Benchmark services against other providers and industry expectations to ensure the Company's preparedness on product and services remain at the leading edge in the region.
- To establish and manage collaborative/ productive relationship with customers buying finished goods
- Have a good understanding of market dynamics from channels and consumers served by the customers
- Be the single point of contact between the customers and the brand development organization to understand product segmentations and brand positioning.
- Provide marketing inputs to distributors which can aid appropriate brand positioning and image
- Gain and use understanding of customer specific knowledge to effectively manage customer relationships
- Establish partnership purchase service agreements with distributors.
- Manage “Go-to-Market” communications to customers about new product launches/ re-launches and provide adequate supporting marketing material to customers for customizing & use
Key Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in ophthalmic or medical device industry.
- Professional University Degree.
- Experience working in a cross-culture environment and able to speak Korean.
- Have a professional approach, score highly in terms of commitment and internal/external client care.
- Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels.
- Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Have the proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
- Self-starter who can operate independently and as part of a team.
- IT literate and have experience using PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- The individual will be required to establish professional, robust, but collegiate working relationships at all levels with both the business and support areas as well as other areas within Finance, in order to provide an integrated and proactive approach to business development and facilitation
