JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for company growth, develops and executes strategic plans that result in the successful sales of “Standard”, “Modified”, and “Custom” power supply products and develops and maintains relationships with key players at strategic accounts.
The Sales Manager also develops and builds senior-level client relationships, leads strategic sales initiatives, forecasts revenue and initiates new business growth.
The Sales Manager will ideally be located in the East China region, possibly working out of a home office, and travel on the order of approximately 50-70%.
The Sales Manager is the “face" of Globtek to the customers in China and other Asian markets. The Sales Manager must be a coach and leader capable of demonstrating effective Leadership, Sales skills and abilities, and must possess and utilize highly-advanced communications skills with tact and diplomacy.
An aggressive, take-charge personality combined with professionalism and sales “know-how" will define the successful Sales Manager!
WORK PERFORMED
Acquire, manage and motivate Independent Manufacturer Representatives within the assigned territory.
Develop a “”Business Plan” for the penetration of accounts and the growth of sales of the Company’s products to ”Existing”, “Prospect” and “Dormant” customers in the assigned territory .
Develop and implement defined company programs, plans, goals, policies and strategies in order to achieve budgeted sales and NEW account quotas.
Provide local training and technical applications support to representatives and customer base.
Create and follow up on leads for Globtek products.
In conjunction with Marketing, Inside Sales and Engineering teams, create effective proposals and RFP/RFQ responses that identify prospects’ needs and requirements and outline our solution and value proposition.
Maintain extensive interaction with all departments of Globtek to achieve solutions for customers and drive revenue growth.
Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedule and discounts.
Prepare periodic Sales Reports with the use of SALESFORCE showing sales volume, Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and forecast of future sales expectations.
Make Globtek presentations to key customers with and without company reps.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
Attend trade shows and other market/industry events.
