Description of role

This Marketing Associate Director(for H&B business) is responsible for executing key H&B business marketing activities that take place on mainland China, coordinating and developing H&B intellectual capital, and participating in consulting or broking projects as appropriate. This role reports to one of the consulting director of H&B China.

Key responsibilities

· Work closely with the Mercer marketing team to lead and execute H&B only or cross-LOB marketing programs in China

· Direct responsibilities for delivering key regional marketing and PR programs at local level

· Lead and successfully implement marketing programs that build the brand with key industries and segments such as SOEs

· Work closely with client management and business development teams to ensure strong link between marketing and sales activities and generate leads for the business

· Coordinate and develop H&B intellectual capital, such as perspectives, surveys, presentations, news releases, etc. for marketing purpose

· Coordinate and develop business development and marketing materials, such as PPT, flyers, product/service/survey report brochures, etc.

· Utilise client management system (M-drive) for manage prospects/clients and marketing activities

· Participate in consulting or broking projects as appropriate

Requirements

· Minimum 3-year marketing experience

· Fluent in spoken and written English

· Proven track record in managing marketing activities and developing marketing materials, such as product brochures, news releases, etc.

· Strong event management skills and ability to work across functions

· Good communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the market

· Ability to manage a budget

· University degree in marketing or other related discipline
