Responsibilities

- Timely manage the execution of FRM engagements to ensure quality service is delivered
- Develop and maintain client relationships, maximize business opportunity
- Supervise a growing specialist team and contribute to the career development of team members
- Play a key role in the business development across regions
- Supervise the KPMG Credit Risk Model Validation initiatives

Experience

- Master and above, major in Financial Engineering/Financial mathematics/Applied mathematics/Mathematical statistics/Financial risk management/Econometrics and other related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, professional financial services advisory, or other risk management department in financial institutions(Credit risk management will be a priority)
- Have in depth knowledge of:
  - Financial Risk Management
  - Credit Risk and Credit Risk Models
  - Basel II Credit Risk Requirements / Local Regulatory Requirements
  - Risk control processes and implementation
- Credit Risk Model Development: PD%, LGD and EAD models at Banking Institutions in China and / or Hong Kong
- Back-testing the performance of existing credit risk models within a banking institution and summarizing test results
- Benchmarking model performance against performance of similar models, and summarizing test results
- Assisting with the design, development, and implementation of credit risk models review processes, including development of templates and procedures manuals, validation processes
- Experience with implementing credit risk models into banking operations
- Experience Communicating with regulators, management, and auditors to provide information regarding validation processes, results and project status
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives
- Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent business and technical writing and presentation skills with experience in developing training materials s
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin
- Cross cultural business and overseas experience preferred

Core Skills

- Master and above, major in Financial Engineering/Financial mathematics/Applied mathematics/Mathematical statistics/Financial risk management/Econometrics and other related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, professional financial services advisory, or other risk management department in financial institutions(Credit risk management will be a priority)
- Knowledge and practical work experience with Quantitative analysis tool, SAS, Matlab, Excel-VBA is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (Power Point Skills)
- FRM or CFA is a plus
- Ability to manage projects within timeframes and budgets
