Responsibilities:
* Carefully align on sourcing strategies and directions with key stakeholders (and other Regions) - making sure that sourcing strategies are fully aligned to our changing business requirements.
* Lead cross-functional teams that develop and implement sourcing strategies for product categories
* Ensure that Purchasing is fully integrated with the Business Teams, supporting strategic projects within the BG.
* Bring professionalism to the team to ensure proper implementation of leading edge Purchasing capabilities. As result of your efforts Purchasing is truly recognized as a value adding business function within organization.
* Work in close collaboration with Internal Customers, External Suppliers and Purchasing community. The successful candidate is comfortable in a matrix organization and strong at stakeholder management.
The Challenges
* Category Management - setting up (regional/global) sourcing strategies (considering business requirements & supply -market situations), running tenders / negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management.
* Demonstrates global thinking.
* Stays focused on further margin expansion (identify and execute cost-out programs) and cash flow improvements (next step beyond Payment Terms extension & Global Confirming).
* Risk managements - raising business awareness and following up with mitigation plans.
* Inspire, develop the local & regional purchasing communities.
Recruitments：
* Has extensive procurement experience, used strategic sourcing methods in the past, led high spend negotiations for multiple stakeholders
* Is able to demonstrate a truly global / international mindset
* Is a change agent with continuous improvement mindset - not afraid of challenging the status quo.
* Bachelor's degree is required
* Fluent in English speaking, able to work with foreigner
* Familiar with China regional and manufacture.
