Job Description
1. Responsible for all aspects of circuit design and verification.
2. Selection and characterization of critical optical and electrical components.
3. Oversee PCBA layout activities.
4. Define performance validation and characterization requirements execute EVT and DVT tests.
5. Failure Analysis and Debug for product development.
6. Development of manufacturing test strategy and test flow.
7. Support for new product qualification activities.
8. Support for new product introduction and production transfer activities.
Requirements
1. Laboratory experience with high-speed optical and electrical test equipment.
2. Knowledge of high-speed optoelectronic devices (e.g. lasers, detectors, modulators).
3. Knowledge of high-speed optical transceiver or modules.
4. Multi-disciplinary background with a demonstrated record of innovation.
5. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
6. Able to travel internationally (~ 5%).
7. Minimum BS EE/Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent education.
8. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent education and experience a big plus.
9. 5+ Years directly related industry experience that includes high speed transceiver design is desired.
10. Laboratory experience with high-speed optical and electrical test equipment.
11. Proven track record with new product introductions and product ramp.
