JOB SUMMARY 主要工作内容

As a key member of the quality team, the quality engineer is required to contribute to the total quality assurance program for the company product assortments, which are mainly distributed in the European market. The quality engineer must have a broad knowledge in QE, SQE, as well as Product Compliance, and he / she must be proactive, result oriented, and able to collaborate with European customers, various internal departments, as well as 3rd party suppliers.

The key areas of responsibilities will be verifying product silver and gold samples on correctly working of product functions, evaluate product safety and measure performance according to technical specifications and/or regulations, produce first sample report (FSR). This is part of the product Quality Assurance activities during New Product Introduction process (NPI).
Quality support to existing business: investigate product samples with reported technical problems, find failure mode and perform root cause analysis as part of the corrective actions process (8D).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance testing during the NPI process.
*Define test protocol for first sample investigation.
*Execute first sample investigation in line with agreed time-schedule.
*Provide input for product first sample report (FSR).
 
Quality support to existing business
*Problem verification: testing / investigation of product samples.
*Timely reporting of investigation results in clear & accurate manner.
*Provide input for the 8D-report.

Test equipment
*Set-up test & measuring equipment, so that the most common simple tests and investigations can be performed in house and in accordance with the appropriate technical regulations.
*Organize maintenance & calibration of test / measuring equipment in a timely manner: Optimal availability of equipment.

Test room
*Set-up and maintain test room in a proper and orderly manner (5S)
“Golden sample” repository
*Set-up and maintain “golden samples” in a systemic way: optimal availability and traceability of reference samples.

Support Quality Engineer and Compliance Officer
*Back-up for urgent Quality Engineer and Compliance Officer operational tasks during their absence.

REQUIREMENTS 要求
*Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
*Sound experience on electronics, home appliances and connectivity products.
*Technical Legal Requirement on products (e.g. LVD, R&TTE(RED), EMC, ERP)
*Broad knowledge in QE, SQE, and other compliances topics
*Ability to work independently and willing to take initiatives
*Fluent in spoken and written English.
*Proactive, quick-learner, and good business attire
*Strong business ethics
*Up-to-date knowledge on consumer electronics and systems.
