Commodity Manager (PCBA)
Job Responsibilities
? Manage assigned commodity supply chain in support of Finisar products.
? Database set up and maintenance for assigned commodity.
? Provide regional strategic sourcing and work with cross functional teams to develop supply base to meet quality, reliability, delivery and cost requirement.
? Continue to drive business process and cost improvement to meet or exceed performance goal.
? Establish supplier management process and performance criteria to drive world class performance and competitive cost strategy.
? Develop and articulate commodity supply chain requirements to R&D, Engineering, as well as Global Commodity Management and World Wide Purchasing throughout the organization.
? Lead and perform periodic business reviews with key suppliers.
? Develop quality, delivery, customer service, and cost metrics for supply base within the commodity.
? A strong negotiator with a creative approach to establish strong supplier and win-win relationship.
? A professional with a sound standard of character

Skills/Qualifications
 
? BS degree, Master degree in Engineering preferred; Major in Optoelectronics, Materials Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Semiconductor.
? Minimum 8 years’ experience in assigned commodity management (PCBA). Prefer product Commodity Management experience in fiber optics industry would be a plus.
? Experience & knowledge of manufacturing process for assigned commodity (PCBA), experience of PCBA in fiber optics industry should be a plus.
? Experience & knowledge of contract manufacture management, especially for contract manufactures operation & process.
? Capabilities and knowledge of sourcing strategy development and manage supplier relationship.
? Experience of Cost model and price database set up and maintenance.
? Leadership to drive the whole team to manage supply base.
? Strong negotiation and presentation skills which will result in meeting the objective and goals.
? Analytical thinking, problem solving skills.
? Skillfully communicate in English in both verbal and written.
