Job Responsibilities

Provide material purchasing support for production, NPI & R&D products. This activity will include purchasing of production, development and unique material, and will be expected to interface with Division Planners, Engineering and Commodity Management to ensure quality capability of volume purchasing and best pricing. Insure purchases are made to Commodity Agreements where applicable.
Coordinate activity across the supply chain; from Suppliers, CM's, Domestic and International factory teams and the Divisional Planning team.
Procure and manage purchases assigned to the position of commodities.
Support internal customers through self-service requisitioning application (i-Procurement). This includes creating Purchase orders, submitting PO's to Suppliers and following-up on deliveries schedules.
Execute Demand/Supply requirements from MRP planning system (APS) and Division Planners.
Regularly review of MRP and issue PO to meet all production requirements.
Support planning to ensure materials on-time delivery to satisfy R&D, NPI and Production schedules from all locations.
Work with suppliers to do PO confirmation in Oracle system.
Expedite and communicate with suppliers with regards to parts deliveries and to negotiate changes in delivery schedules when necessary and follow up the delivery schedule by working with suppliers, logistics, site warehouse, SDE, commodity managers and other cross function team to clear the issues related to deliveries if any.
Regularly review PO by reschedule in and reschedule out, cancellations to support inventory reduction activities.
Execute fundamental purchasing activity; RTV, PO status, work order and AP maintenance.
Maintain proper control of inventory levels, by managing supplies, to meet inventory turnover ratio as well as to minimize stock outs and obsolescence.
Work directly with all levels of staff including managers on a daily basis.

Skills/Qualifications

BS+ degree. 5+ years of purchasing experience.
Be familiar with Oracle/SAP system.
Skillfully communicate in English in both verbal and written. 举报 分享
