Job Description:
To be the senior designer with a strong emphasis on embedded hardware development (electronics and firmware), including mechanical enclosure.
·To develop new products which meet customer specifications, have minimum labor and material costs, meet established reliability and quality requirements, and meet development project constraints (cost, schedule, performance, specifications).
·Provide HW sustaining capabilities, support NPI products transferred to the sustaining stage, troubleshoot GAed products and provide detailed failure analysis report
·Work with Manufacturing Engineering and purchasing as needed to identify and rectify manufacturing, component, supply chain, or assembly problems and create a reliably sustainable product.
·Develop, review and maintain design and production documentations with ODM.
·Driving resolution of cross-functional issues including those related to architecture, production and development.Domestic and International travel may be required.


Qualifications:
·BS/MS EE or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and development of high speed digital and/or analog boards and systems.
·Must have a solid understanding of the system development process including concept creation, schematics and board design and development, as well as board and system bring up and debugging.
·Must have direct experience with one or more of the following technologies: PowerPC-based computer systems, high speed bus design for low emissions, low power design, EMC and EMI control, industry standard protocols (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, PCI, PCIE, DDR2, I2C, USB, etc.) and their design issues.
·Must have a good mastery on HW design tools, such as Allegro, ConceptHDL, Verilog, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, Smartbits, etc.
·Must have excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, and is flexible, open to change.
·Self managed, action and result oriented, good planning and organizing
