职位描述：
SUMMARY
Member of the applications engineering team providing applications engineering in Shenzhen supporting the Timing Business Unit Asian customers.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides technical assistance to customers (e.g., assisting a customer in designing and programming parts)
- Designs and debugs demonstration and evaluation boards
- Designs interface examples of how our products connect in various systems
- Actively works with customers on design activities
- Participates in design validation
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
- Travels if necessary to support Tier 1 customers and reference design partners.
- Other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- A technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent training and 5 years of related experience

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies
- Schematic capture and PCB design skills
- Familiarity with circuit-level simulation tools
- Knowledge of proper and effective use of lab test equipment
- Knowledge of software programming tools or soldering and rework tools
- General analog and digital circuit analysis skills
- EVB or software design skills
- System analysis skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices
- Basic customer interface skills
- Technical documentation authoring and editing skills
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation
- Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (Good or High TOEFL levels)

DESIRABLE
- Design or test and measurement engineering experience in clocks or timing (time and frequency domain)
- Experience in products designs including telecommunication (WDM, PON, gateway, router), data center (server,
   storage, router, switch), wireless infrastructure (base station, mobile core).
- Working experience with a US or International organization is a plus
