职位描述
Role Summary & Key Responsibilities :
1)Supplier engineering testing capabilities evaluation-Perform evaluations and certifications
of supplier and third party engineering test capabilities and perform post training audits to
maintain quality confidence levels/certification.
2)Engineering testing document review-Review suppliers/third party test results and oversee
their testing leveraging both internal and external resources. Perform audits on suppliers test
results and audit samples based on the lab standard operating procedure. Document and follow
up on closed looped corrective actions for issues found during the review/audit process.
3)Test/Test Plan creation-Research and define the procedures, technical measurements, and
observations that must be performed to assure a given product sample meets the performance
criteria established for Best Buy's Exclusive Brands products. Develop automated testing
processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of test groups to meet schedule and
roadmap requirements for new product releases. Design and build hardware and software test
fixtures/resources in support of new product development.
4)Training of Product Testers: Train members of the local team, global test team, supplier test teams, and third party test teams. Verify they can perform the activities listed in the test plans, and will arrive at similar measurements and results
5)Evaluate product samples and document test results: Execute test plans and perform measurements in accordance with the technical specifications and usability requirements to produce an accurate assessment of the functionality, performance, and customer acceptability of product samples for Best Buy's Exclusive Brands (this would include pre-sku award evaluations). Responsible for documenting test results in test reports. This person will assist the engineering team and our suppliers in troubleshooting/resolving issues and in the improvement of the supplied products.
6)Assist development engineers in product specification development-Assist development engineers in the creation/revision of product specifications for Best Buy's Exclusive Brands products. Perform early test plan and test equipment development on development prototypes to help bring products to market faster.
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree, major in BESS, BSCE or related. postgraduate is preferred
6+year working experience. 4+ years on product testing and 2+ years on product designing or engineering
Be very familiar with working principle for audio and video product
Understand the testing method for audio and video products
Good experience on industry standard for AV products
Good English skill both in writing and speaking.
