职位描述：
Job Title: Technical Author
Department/Location: Shenzhen
Reports to: Team Leader
Purpose of Role: To write user manuals and instructions for a wide range of catering equipment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Meeting colleagues to discuss technology and authoring requirements
2. Deciding how best to organise and present the document
3. Planning any required photographs
4. Designing illustrations
5. Writing the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understood
6. Editing, proofreading and indexing
7. Testing the written material with users or colleagues
8. Work with translation companies to translate from English into other languages.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
1. A clear and concise writing style
2. A flair for turning technical subjects and jargon into easily understood text
3. The ability to absorb information quickly
4. An analytical mind and an inquisitive nature
5. A curiosity about how things work.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Precise and consistent attention to detail
2. Logical approach to work flow and problem solving
3. Flexibility in approach to work load
4. Able to understand and decipher long / complex documentation and explain in laymans terms.
