QC Inspector
Zenith Products Corporation is recruiting for a QC Inspector. Zenith is a well-established, medium-sized company located in New Castle, Delaware in the United States. Our company manufactures consumer products found in most major retail stores such as shower curtain rods, liners and rings, as well as mirrored medicine cabinets, shower caddies, and wood, wire, and plastic shelving and storage cabinets.
The QCInspector’srole is to support our quality control efforts in China. This will involve factory on-site inspections, creating and/or evaluating corrective action plans with our vendors, as well as various product testing. Reporting on inspection and testing activities is required. This position reports to the QC/QA Engineer.
Responsibilities:
? Travel to vendor/factories frequently for inline/final inspection before shipment to US
? Report inspection results in English per Standard Operating Procedure
? Advise QC/QA Engineer regarding any issues found during inspection and ask for direction
? Suggest and/or review corrective action plans with factory for all identified issues
? Track progress against corrective action plans to ensure proper implementation and repeatability by vendor
? Coordinate and document testing activities as required
Minimum Qualifications:
? 2 years QC working experience
? BS/BA degree is preferred or relevant Quality Control experience
? Good communication skills to properly represent our company with our vendors
? Have a strong command of written English
? Must have good organization skills
? Timely execution and accurate reporting is required
? Eagerness to learn on the job to promote self-development
? Able and willing to travel to vendor locations in China
? Knowledge of relevant testing procedures
Additional Desired Attributes and Abilities:
? Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
? Experience in hardware and household products
? Self-motivated
? Attention to Detail
? Ability to interpret and modify engineered or technical drawings
? Strong verbal English skills
? Good mechanical aptitude
