Job Responsibilities:

To receive and evaluate samples
To communicate with factory sample room on all corrections needed if sample is rejected.
To make a sample evaluation report for buyers appraisal.
To review buyers sample comments, translate them from English to Chinese in an easy to understand format for the factory’s sample room to follow.
To coordinate with Merchandise dept, in making sure they have completed a QC style file for the field Qc’s.
To coordinate between the Qc dept and Merchandise dept on any missing info, or queries on any styles allocated for production.
To maintain a good filing system of all communication received from Buyer and Merchandise dept.

Job Requirements:

3 years plus experience in merchandise or in sample evaluation or a garment technical role. Or 5 years experience in quality control or sample room supervisor role.
Must be able to display some technical aptitude for garment evaluation and for garment construction.
Must be able to understand, speak read and write basic English.
Must be a good communicator.
Must have competent computer knowledge and skills.
Must have good filing skills.

(Would also consider English graduates who have a good working knowledge of the English language or extremely technical Chinese candidates with no to limited knowledge of English language)
