Job Summary

This position will have a thorough understanding of the whole process of different Retailers’ DI order process and the forwarder’s requirements.
The role is responsible for leading team on supplier training, solution providing, coordinating and collaborating with different stakeholders.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

? Provide the guidance for the whole process and requirements of the different Retailers’ DI order process and forwarder’s requirements
? Working with Wilton US to set up DI order follow up process for new customers to improve working efficiency and accuracy and improve the current process to deliver better result, reduce fire-fighting.
? Working with Sourcing team to feedback the lead time/LCL charges/MOQ issue to drive supplier factory performance in DI area
? Manage PO transaction between factory and oversea buyers via. Web based PO management tool. Coordinate with Sourcing / buyer and other functional team to remove barrier of releasing shipment
? Familiar with internal system and the process. Work and collaborate with cross functional teams across the business unit including customer service and other functions on a regular basis.
? Lead team to coordinate with the customer service team and PD teams and if possible provide the effective solution/suggestion to ensure the order can be carry on smoothly
? Lead team to communicate with the forwarder and the vendors for booking, shipment and documentation
? Communicate with Wilton US for Create DI process and documentation format etc.
? Mentor others on the Logistics team
? Establish metrics to measure team working efficiency and decision quality
? Cross functional synergy with Sourcing and Quality team to deliver result by collaborative team effort
? Hand-in-hand work with Sourcing staff to drive supplier performance in fulfilling DI orders
? Seek for opportunities for continuous improvement from both Wilton internal and supply base

Knowledge, skills and abilities

? A thorough understanding of the whole process of different Retailers’ DI order process and the forwarder’s requirements
? Problem Solving- The ability to identify problems and develop and implement solutions to the issues.
? Decision Making-The ability to make high quality decisions in a timely manner
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills
? Experience with PO management tools (i.e. Setlog) will be an advantage

Education and/or experience

? Effective written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
? A Bachelor’s Degree in a business, supply chain or other related field.
? 5-8 year working experience on merchandising in trading company or buying office with relevant experience
? Familiar with computer and very comfortable with e-mail / excel etc.
? Responsibility, careful, pro-active, good team work, result-oriented
? Willing to take challenges, hardworking, self-motivated and dependable
? Capability and willing to handle multiple tasks
? Strong prioritization Skills
