JD – Sourcing Manager
Position Summary
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for the entire sourcing operation for his/her product categories. Responsibilities include factory evaluation, product development, cost negotiation and project management. The manager will lead a team of merchandisers to develop lines of products that meet the needs of our customer base.
Position Responsibilities
1. Manage the operation of product sourcing within Asia region including supplier identification, quotation, cost negotiation and project management of product development.
2. Achieve continuous cost reductions while maintaining or improving product quality.
3. Manage supplier performance to ensure continuous improvement.
4. Responsible for creation and management of all details of each sourcing project timeline
5. Work with suppliers to develop product lines that meet the objectives of the customer sourcing requests
6. Hire, train, manage and motivate the sourcing staff.
Position Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree required in business management, purchasing, operations management or appropriate discipline. MBA degree a plus.
2. Previous hard goods sourcing management experience in Asia for a western company or a trading company required.
3. Established negotiating skills.
4. Experience in detailed project management working with teams located in international locations.
5. Travel up to 30% of the time within Asia, primarily within China.
6. Must be fluent in English and Chinese languages.

We do not trade in products and only provide the services with our customers paying us based on the FOB value they purchase directly with suppliers in Asia.
We have retail and non-retail businesses and provide services in a broad range of product.
