Global Sourcing Analyst China
Zenith Products Corporation is recruiting for a Global Sourcing Analyst for our China office.Zenith is a well-established, medium-sized company located in New Castle, Delaware in the United States. Our company manufactures consumer products found in most major retail stores such as shower curtain rods, liners and rings, as well as mirrored medicine cabinets, shower caddies, and wood, wire, and plastic shelving and storage cabinets.
The Global Sourcing Analyst’s role is to be the liaison between the Global Sourcing Team in the US and our current vendors in China focusing on current products and operations. This person will be responsible for communications and all aspects of vendor management for new and existing vendors.This person will address all issues regarding pricing, quality, and capacity, as well as track and report vendor performance based on key metrics. This position reports to the Vendor Management Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
? Sourcing, qualifying, sampling, testing, costing, negotiating, contracts, quality control, and terms are allsubjects that will be addressed by this person
? Monitoring vendor performance via spreadsheets, graphs, and reports
? Expediting open projects, costs, and samples as needed
Recognizing issues and recommending solutions in all areas of vendor management
? Identify and initiate cost savings opportunities
? Timely and accurate reporting of information as required
? Must keep projects on schedule
? Perform an analysis as requested and provide recommendations
Minimum Qualifications:
? BS/BA in Engineering or Business
? Minimum of 2 years experience in sourcing or related field
? Highly proficient in MS Office (Advanced in Excel)
? Ability to understand engineered or technical drawings
? Strong English Skills in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening
? Exceptional communication skills

? Strong analytical ability
? Ability to multi-task
? Capableof working in a fast-paced environment
? Strong written and verbal communication
? High attention to detail
? Willing to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
? Experience with housewares products is preferred
