ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Develop and execute prospecting strategies for non-ShopperTrak clients, including email and phone lead-based generation efforts
2. Compose emails for outreach (as required) based on understanding of ShopperTrak value proposition as it relates to specific prospect and client needs
3. Send email, phone, and social media messaging for outreach to targeted prospects and existing ShopperTrak customers based on specific campaigns and communication strategies
4. Find and document new relevant prospect contacts in Salesforce.com
5. Set appointments for salespeople including high profile trade events
6. Record all results in Salesforce daily
7. Follow up on high-priority web leads including qualifying leads to generate a credible sales cycle when appropriate with documentation in lead template
8. Achieve the assigned accountability quotas including communication protocols (48 hour web lead response) and activity requirements (minimum 200/week)
9. Work closely with the assigned ShopperTrak Business Development Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Mid-market sales team(s) to ensure proper customer communication and follow-up
10. Maintain proper reports as directed by the sales organization
11. Maintain and produce expense reports as directed by company policy
12. Up-sell new products (using internal subject matter experts or other internal resources as necessary) during client and prospect communication
13. Gather competitive intelligence as needed to understand market landscape and retail acumen
14. Help sales to prepare all of the documents based on clients requests.
15. Other duties, as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BS/BA preferred in a field such as Business, Marketing, or Communications.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Have in-depth knowledge of high level selling techniques to include prospecting, strategic selling, and communication. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SFDC applications required. Fluency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two to five years of prospecting sales experience to executive level clients including CEO, COO, CMO, CFO, and CSO. Customer centric personality, high drive, and self-starting experience required. Retail industry experience is extremely helpful.

PHYSICAL/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced with significant people interaction. No lifting over 20 pounds, with minimal reaching, bending, and stooping. Normal open office environment with long hours in front of the computer.

OTHER NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS: Occasional evening or weekend duties may be required. Minimal travel for activities such as the annual meeting is required.
