Requirement:
1.Master degree or above, at least 5 years rich experience in Electronics test lab management in automotive industry.
2.Electronics, Electric/ Automatization or related.
3.Assessor certification of ISO17025 certified by CNAS or A2LA.
4.Certification of EMC related knowledge, iNARTE is preferred.
5. Certification of IPC600, IPC610 and IPC650.
6. Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency).
7. Advanced English listening, speaking, reading and writing skill.
8. Computer/Software: Excel, Word, PPT.
9. Familiar with globally all Automotive OEMs’ parts EMC and reliability test specification.
10. Knowledge of Measurement Uncertainty.
11. Certification of 5 tools.
12. Knowledge and Labview skill
13. Certification of TS16949 internal assessor.
14. Certification of Six Sigma and PMP are preferred.
15. Adapt to flexible shifts, working under pressure, team spirit.
16. Strong communication, negotiation and argumentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Planning of Resources/Equipment :
Comply with the objectives and yearly planning of the company and ensures the capability and capacity of the test laboratory.

Forecast lab capacity and take steps necessary to fullfil the needs; analyze requirements for new equipment and testing methods and establish capital requirements / budgets; create test methods for new customer, stay apprised of new industry standard test and drive improvement in test processes; conducts/organizes training sessions to enhance skills/capability of the staff; creates standardized tests and work instructions; provides opinions and interpretations of test data when required.

Contribute to the achievement of the goals of the given department. Scheduling and design of test lab facilities, including investment projects according to stipulations of the operational demand under adherence of the cost/benefit ratio Planning, optimization and security of the input of resources in close collaboration with other Gentherm test labs.

Lab Management System (ISO17025)
Install and maintain lab management system including documentation, measurement uncertainty, MSA’s, driving lab corrective actions, internal compliance audits; drive improvements in lab system and reduction of measurement uncertainty; review and analyze test reports. Responsible for A2LA / CNAS / IEC and OEMs accreditation according to ISO 17025.

Design feedback and development:
Advise and consult with all design engineering regarding design robustness and technical solutions either new or related to industry standard; feedback in design feasibility and DVPR requirements.

Continuous improvements :
Implement improved test lab processes, 5S of the work environment, standardization of a common of global procedures.

Maintain communication with appropriate engineering departments, in Gentherm Corporate to assure a flow of information; achieve departmental financial objectives by participating in the development of a departmental budget, scheduling and controlling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating requirements.

Collaboration/Procedures/Standards :
Mediate conflicts of interests between project managers, engineers and test lab employees.

Participate on the organization of inter-laboratory tests with test lab departments and other facilities of other locations

The incumbent is the superior of :
A group of employees, test supervisor, test specialist, test lab engineers, system engineer and technicians of the test lab. Responsible for employee management includes but not limited to recruitment, training, KPI, remuneration and positive team buliding.
