The Sourcing Engineer will take important part in efforts of exploring, initiating and developing new suppliers. The main responsibilities for this position will be as follows:
? Searching new suppliers.
? Conducting factory audits, commercial and technical discussion.
? Follow suppliers’ approval process.
? Target cost down or quality improvements with new suppliers.
? Support Purchasing/R&D/Logistic for communication with suppliers.
? Analyze Market trends for different component groups.
Key qualifications:
? BS degree in Electrical, Suppler Chain management, International trade
? Good spoken and written English.
? Good communication, positive attitude, patience.
? Microsoft office knowledge.
Requirements:
? Internship from sourcing, purchasing and related supplier chain will be preferred.
? Experience in LCD TV, LCD modules or Tablet PC manufacturer.
? Project management skills, working in a matrix Organization to managing a cross-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives.
? Be able to travel to supplier's plants, inside and outside China
? Component Knowledge
? The individual in this role will act as the technical and commercial interface between suppliers and Vestel.
