Responsibilities:

• Identify and monitor the key product performance measures and drive improvement as required
• Partner with the PE & SQE to understand the impact of process and RM variables on product attributes and drive appropriate improvements in product
• Communicate to the product specialist the manufactured quality of the product and any process limitations
• Understand impact of raw material variability on final product and participate in development of raw material specifications and accept/reject criteria
• Partner with Development Engineers and Product Specialists to verify capability and conformance to design specifications of new products
• Partner with Process Engineer for product and process capability and validation of products and proposed changes
• Develop "cause and effect" troubleshooting guides
• Drive technical trouble shooting within the supply chain
• Assist with maintaining the SOPs for the complete process
• Partner with CQE to resolve customer complaints timely and at a root cause level

Requirements:
Must haves:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical, Materials, Textile or Mechanical Engineering Discipline(or other relevant applied science subject) required
• Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering in a complex process,with 3+ years experience in a leader/manager role
• Demonstrated ability to ability to prioritize, initiate and drive projects to completion(project management skills)
• Track record of effective problem solving and root-cause analysis
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and/or projects and ability to influence others to drive change
• Proven written and oral English communication skills
• Familiarity using statistical tools, SPC tools, DOE's .etc
  

Nice to have:

• Desired experience with ISO 9001 or GMP
• Demonstrated success in working with cross functional teams in a multi-culture environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean manufacturing and Understanding of metrology tools
• Familiarity with quality software systems
• Desired experience with product and process validation
• Desired textiles / garment or related industry experience
