Graphic Designer
Zenith Products Corporation is recruiting for aGraphic Designer. Zenith is a well-established, medium-sized company located in New Castle, Delaware in the United States. Our company manufactures consumer products found in most major retail stores such as shower curtain rods, liners and rings, as well as mirrored medicine cabinets, shower caddies, and wood, wire, and plastic shelving and storage cabinets.
The Graphic Designer's role is to design art and copy layouts while keeping a balance between functionality and consumer appeal. This person must exhibit creativity through the use of color and images. The position must be able to adapt to the latest trends in the industry and be capable of setting new trends as well.The Graphic Designer will work closely with internal staff in Marketing as well as collaborate with our vendor partners to manage projects. This position reports to the R&D Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
? 3+ years of graphics experience
? Degree in Graphic Design or relevant field
? Ability to develop solutions that meet the needs of Marketing, the customer, and are appealing to the final consumer
? Conceptualize and design innovative solutions
? Must be able to manage projects effectively achieving all deadlines
? Manage and maintain all graphics files keeping them organized for easy retrieval
? Extensive knowledge of printing process
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator and freehand is a plus
? Good written and verbal communication skills in English
? Capacity to effectively review samples and provide feedback as required
? Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail
Preferred Design Experience:
? Ready to Assemble (RTA) furniture for mass retail
? Wire and metal tubular products
? Plastic and Rubber materials
? Designing for mass retail customers and consumers
Additional Desired Experience and Abilities:
? Ability to multi-task and effectively work on several projects simultaneously
? Thrive in a fast-paced environment
? Effectively participate in brainstorming sessions and generate innovative concepts
Experience Working with Major US Retailers:
Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kmart, Target, JC Penney, Others
