General Job Description:
Started in 2005, Shanghai Software Team is part of Husky’s Development Engineering Department. We work on machine control and SCADA solutions focusing on injection molding industry. While based in Shanghai, we work on global software projects in close collaboration with engineering teams from other sites.
Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:
Develop and maintain machine control software with PLC Programming language(IEC-61131)
Develop and maintain HMI
Develop and maintain Web-based SCADA solutions
Document development, design changes and production design activities
Strong communication skills in conjunction with teamwork in a global teams, planning and organizational skills are essential
Mandatory
Knowledge of and interests in machine control & automation
Programming skills in PLC(IEC-61131)
Programming skills in C++ or C#
· Definite advantage
Experience designing, debugging and deploying software in Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience in using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology
Experience in WCF/Silverlight
Experience in Python/Ruby
Expereince in web service/sites development
· Preferable
Experience in programming real-time control systems
Strong knowledge of PC based control systems and embedded system
Working knowledge of standard industrial communication protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education (Indicate required and/or preferred education for this job.)
Bachelor Degree in Automation/ Electrical Engineering /Computer Engineering.
- Related Experience (Indicate required and/or preferred experience for this job.)
1-2 years hands-on experience in automated control system design and troubleshooting preferred.
