Responsibility:

1. Engineering/Technical function in Business Team

a. Evaluate company product/quality specification.

b. Translate product/quality specification into manufacturing process control keys and test requirements.

c. Introduce/direct suppliers to meet company products/quality specification.

d. Continuous improvement of existing products.

2. New project (NPD, Market goods and Resourcing)

a. Following Marketing, Innovation/Designing engineering team requests (for existing spec for Resourcing), work with suppliers to transfer the product design into initial product samples.

b. Initial product sample review / off tool sample evaluation / ISIR

c. Value engineering and design for manufacturability

d. Handle product qualification test according to WK specification (NPD and Market goods) and new product design features.

e. Pilot production assessment

f. Supplier quality control plan review and production risk assessment

g. Prepare product inspection check list for QC inspectors.

h. First delivery inspection.

3. Supplier production /Quality system evaluation, process control and continuous improvement.

a. New supplier assessment.

b. Monitor process performance indices and establish good controls to maintain process performance.

c. Oversee and ensure that all critical nodes for quality indices are met.

d. Help suppliers to optimize processes, improve productivity, yield and quality.

e. Work with suppliers for process improvement by using quality improvement tools and other statistical tools. Running DOE.

f. Customer return / Quality issue analysis. Lead suppliers for quality issue analysis, determine and implement corrective action.

g. Work with Business Team leader in gathering general supplier data of the industry.

4. Follow functional Manager for Business Team assignment, work policy and procedures.

5. Report to Business Team leader for routine business to achieve Business Team KPI.

Job Requirements

1. Education Qualification

a. Bachelor Degree or above (Science, Mechanical & Engineering)

b. Fluency in English and Chinese (verbally and in written)

c. PC skills. Use CAD, strong in Microsoft Excel would be a plus.

2. Knowledge & Skills

a. Familiar with ISO9000

b. Statistic Process Control/Quality Control Tools

c. Good communication skill and coordination skill

4. Experience

a. Min 5 years working experience

b. At least 3 years possess engineering experiences in metal/plastic/ceramic houseware industry.
