Purpose:

¨ Support Planning Asist. Manager/Manager by managing the entire planning process of the assigned product categories and factory(s) to ensure that products are delivered according to (or exceeding) customer expectations and with the best possible LO and factory performance.

¨ Continuously improve self and factory team's accountability and efficiency level to enhance and sustain overall performance.

¨ Work with Global Supply Planning A&G, T1 suppliers, Forwarders, Trading & Logistics, and all other departments to continually improve the quality of order confirmation, production and shipping information and provide efficient and effective solutions to the changing demands from the customers.

¨ Execute and sustain a high performance level for the assigned "value added service" initiatives (SHAS, S&P, VCB, SLP, DPOC, ATPC, etc…). Ensure that performance issues and proposed solutions are escalated to the responsible project owner on time to minimize any possible impact to delivery, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

General

¨ Interfaces among Factories, Forwarders, Printing Companies, Global Planning, SCI/SCS, T&L, Trading Finance and other adidas teams.

¨ Strengthen relationship with suppliers to strictly follow up A&G policy

¨ Train and educate suppliers

¨ Support and coordinate any logistics & IT projects when necessary

¨ Continually drive planning process improvement. Challenge existing none value added work flow and processes to manage daily job responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

¨ Maintain A&G LO Planning training manuals

¨ B grade order handling

Planning

¨ Monthly Capacity analysis

¨ Verify monthly forecast list /capacity fill rate report

¨ Balance customer requests and factory constraints by managing expectation from both sides to ensure a higher success rate.

¨ Confirms orders according to customer request date, factory’s capacity and Global Planning’s priority list in timely manner.

Customer Service

¨ Responds to customer questions in a timely manner (within 24 hours).

¨ Communicates with each customer service desk and factories for customer’s special requirements (order adjustment, shipping method, packaging, labeling )

Production

¨ WIP checking so that be fully aware of factors likely to impact T1 delivery performance and work with related parties to plan out preventive measures.

¨ Fabric tracking /monitoring for special product categories such as Y3, SMC…

¨ Updates IB system continuously for production status (LSCD, Delay reason, PO text, FCR date.)

Labeling & Package

¨ Make sure L&P manual updates are correctly implemented in time by the assigned factories.

¨ Make sure VCB is implemented correctly in our key suppliers.

¨ Help to maintain the good relationship between factories and nominated printing companies.

¨ Maintain carton qtty for USA/Canada region in ILA.

¨ Controls Security label usage

Manages customized SLP projects and provides solutions to supply chain issues.

Shipping and documentation

¨ Updates any changes on the shipping bible/manual to all factories and make sure those are implemented in time.

¨ Improves shipping process and ensures on time delivery

¨ Work with the factories and other related parties to identify bottlenecks and complexities and provide corrective actions to improve the all suppliers' delivery performance.

¨ Make sure correct and timely po completion in IB system.

¨ Checks factories’ shipping documents against shipping bible and makes sure all documents are correct before DC signed by Planning Manager.

¨ Transportation, Logistics & Customs

¨ Nominated label providers

¨ A&G Quality

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

¨ Excellent knowledge of Planning/logistic systems; knowledge of adidas systems (SAP/GPS, SIM, ESC, ILA, etc…) will be a plus.

¨ Proficiency with key PC software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

¨ Strong interpersonal & Customer oriented skills.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

¨ University or College degree preferably in International Trade.

¨ More than 2 years experience in Supply Planning and Logistics or related, experience in import/export will be a plus.

¨ Good verbal and written communication skills in a global business setting.

¨ Fluent English in both oral and written.
