Detailed job description:

New Products:
- Participate in discussions around new products and product specifications.
- Responsible for supporting the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in conducting technical pre-studies.
- Responsible for supporting the CTO identifying methods, hardware solutions and design tools supporting BSAB in our commitment to improve R&D efficiency, product quality, cost competiveness.

New Product development projects:
- Responsible for delivery of hardware designs with embedded software. That involves mainly following tasks:
o Develop, test and document
? Hardware concepts to be used in the related solution
? Product specifications;
? Circuit designs of analogue and digital technologies;
? Circuit layouts;
? Simulation;
? Design for tests (ICT);
? Mechanical integration of electronics;
? Design for manufacturing and service;
o Test and validation
o Industrialization (currently mainly in China) including test procedures, production documentation etc.
o Documentation of development deliverables and production documents.

Product development efficiency:
- Maintain and further improve systems and procedures for BOM cost surveillance and potential cost ratios.

Profile searched for:

Education:
- M.Sc.E.E. or similar.

Working experience:
- Mandatory experiences:
o 5+ years of experience from working as a Hardware engineer, including:
? Design (schematics and layout) of electronics for embedded software.
? Design of radio technology on the Short Range Devices (SRD) band.
? Working in R&D team developing consumer electronics or medical devices with embedded software.
? Altium, Cadence Orcad (capture and PCB-editor);
? Mechanical verification and environmental test of electronics;

- Preferred experiences:
o Experience from production in China.
o Experience of mechanical design
o Experience of software development (bare metal embedded software)
o Interest and experience from audio
o Assignment in a private company of small or medium size.
o Experience from audio (Hi-Fi) products.
