Due another year of amazing growth and rapid business expansion a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a high caliber candidate to join us as a Senior Merchandising Manager based in Shanghai.
The role will involve (but not restricted to):
Managing the enquiry process so that KPI's are met with competitive pricing.
Negotiating the best possible payment terms with suppliers.
Assist with the Management of the order process control system and notify management and salespeople of issues as soon as they occur rather than when it is too late.
Working with the Sales Support team to ensure efficient transfer of information.
Ensure supplier meet our strict code of conduct and grow database of socially compliant vendors.
Co-ordinate and communicate between Sales/QC&QA team/Suppliers
Delegate functions and motivate team members for efficient and effective execution of daily operations
Provide necessary support for team members; help them solve problems occurring in their daily operation

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8 years performing senior management level work in an promotional/manufacturing environment,
Experienced with living and working in China on a full-time basis,
Strong sense and awareness of functioning in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
The strongest candidate will be able to speak English and fluent Mandarin, 10-15 years of sourcing/manufacturing operations experience and at least 8 years in a leadership role in a sourcing/manufacturing environment
