Responsibilities:

-Apply design practices and procedures to assigned product portfolio in areas like Desktop, Server PSU, Telecom PSU, etc, with the knowledge in sheet metal design/fabrication, plastic part design/fabrication, tooling processes, power supplier manufacturing process and equipment, etc.

-Integrate multiple elements of finished design (such as cable/interconnect, power distribution, thermal management and FEA)

-Work with other members of the development team to support corporate design initiatives

-Assist in generating production and technology roadmaps that support customer expectations

-Support actively customer base with design improvements that enhance manufacturability and assembly while minimizing costs.

Requirements:

-Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical Engineering;

-Minimum 3 years design and development experience in switching mode power supply industry. Product line should be desktop, server, storage, and telecom PSU, etc.

-Familiar with Plastic/Sheet Metal product design, proficient in Pro-E, Office, etc..

-Familiar with the Power Supply Safety Requirements across different countries;

-Familiar with the Product Development process, experience in the product costing;

-Good communication in verbal English
