Job description
The channel enablement specialist is responsible for developing and implementing skill development strategies for IBM business partners.

The person will work closely with the leaders, sales and marketing and channel technical enablement teams from other business units.

Together they will develop learning & skill development agenda that is aligned with business priorities and BU's accelerated strategies, maximizes the impact to both business and partner performances.

More specifically, the role will:
- - Provide effective and innovative learning opportunities that allow business partners to achieve their full potential through leveraging Channel university structure and offerings.
-Scope performance gaps and future needs in the responsible region at both BP company and BP individual levels.
-Partner with BU team, route team and location team, develop and manage sustainable BP skill improvement plan
-Leverage and implement company's core learning programs to build leadership and technical skills of BPs that drive channel performance
-Build a leadership mindset that leverages learning and development as a competitive edge
-Measure learning and development interventions to determine business impact and provide insights for content direction.

Required Skills:

Communication/Collaboration/Integration

Collaborates and negotiates with team members and other IBM resources to define strategies to meet enablement requirements and implement the enablement plans.
Effectively collaborates and negotiates with multi-levels of business partners to achieve enablement targets.

LEADERSHIP
Leads virtual teams of professionals to achieve BP enablement requirements and targets.

Strategic Thinking
Able to see the "big picture"

Others
- Tracking record of successfully implementing process and managing changes to improve BP engagement.
- Ability to build business cases to support learning/development interventions and assess impacts
- Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to manage projects and changes.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Chinese

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 4 years experience in in sales
English: Fluent
Chinese simplified: Fluent
