Kasalis is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our world class team in field service. You will be responsible for installation of new systems and for resolving field service support requests, including scheduled maintenance, software and process issues. This position reports to our Field Service Manager, based in Hunagpu.
Responsibilities
? Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction in a customer facing role.
? Maintaining precision automation equipment.
? Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or process issues to determine the root cause of system problems impacting production.
? Hands on repair of automated production systems including mechanical and electrical subsystems.
? Communicating effectively with customers and setting reasonable customer expectations while resolving problems.
? Maintaining accurate field inventory records and communicating effectively with the Kasalis supply chain.
? Documenting all customer problems about equipment maintenance, repairs, and problem resolution.
? Work with the field service manager to resolve customer problems within agreed upon timeframe following a predefined escalation procedure.
? Effectively communicate customer issues and requirements to engineering, product development, and other teams to improve product hardware and software.
? Creating specifications and requirements for diagnostics tools.
? Contributing to documentation (engineering and product) reviews and product requirement discussions as the Customer Support representative.
? Identifying potential system improvements and enhancements to achieve customer objective(s).
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
? Minimum BS or MS in a technical field like computer science, math, or engineering or related subject matter or experience.
? 3+ year's relevant technical experience in robotics, automation, electrical engineering, or relevant experience.
? In-depth understanding of the following technologies:
? Windows-based control systems
? PLC control systems
? Precision motion control
? Demonstrated ability and/or experience in a customer support role within a technology company.
? Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in MS Excel for reviewing production data and generating SPC reports.
? Ability to perform crisis management.
? Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
? Willingness and ability to travel domestically in China and internationally.
? Fluent in Mandarin and English
