Scope of Responsibility/Expectation – Battery expertise:

1. Initiate and lead strategic initiatives and projects to support the new product launch. Drive an audit and test strategy that holds the supplier accountable for their overall quality system, operational excellence, and technology capability.
2. Support the resolution of Supplied Material Quality issues found during the new product introduction phase and/or mass production manufacturing.
3. Responsible for managing and reporting on the day to day quality performance, lead technical problem resolution, provide DFx support through the product development cycle, conduct supplier factory and process audits and qualifications.
4. Drive strategic actions that improve the overall performance of delivered material quality as measured through Supplier Performance metrics and key process indicators (KPIs). Develop and implement the supplier quality management processes and systems
5. Work with internal and external teams to position and align supply base capability and capacity to future technology.

Position Requirements: (Specific Knowledge/Skills)

1.Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or above
2.Experience Required: minimum 5+ years’ experience in battery product design, manufacturing and quality management.
3.Knowledge and experience with Battery (Pack/Cell) technology and manufacturing process.
4.Should be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills.
5.Able to communicate in both verbal and written forms in both Mandarin and English.
6.Engineering knowledge in DOE, FMEA, SPC, CPK, Process Characterization, GR&R etc.
7.Certification in Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred & also auditing experience, preferably ISO certified auditor.
8.An excellent problem solver applying analytical and data-driven methodologies.
9.Ability to effectively work in a multi-cultural global business environment.
